Craighead Electric employees donate to local charitable groups

In 2018, the Co-Op Cares campaign was launched as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. It is an employee-sponsored community fund with the mission to support various local charitable organizations. It does not receive any funding from Craighead Electric or its members. Employee contribution is voluntary, but Co-Op Cares currently benefits from over 90% employee participation.

Craighead Electric Celebrates 80 Years of Service

Craighead Electric Cooperative was incorporated on August 13th, 1937, the second electric cooperative in Arkansas to do so under the Rural Electrification Act signed by President Franklin D. Roosevelt. In the 80 years that have passed, the co-op has grown by leaps and bounds.
