To celebrate our 85th year in business, we are hosting three capital credit check pick-up events: 7:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. June 8th at the Jonesboro headquarters, June 15th at the Paragould district office, and June 22nd at the Walnut Ridge district office.
Craighead Electric Cooperative recently marked a major safety milestone of 1 million man-hours without a lost-time accident. Celebrating with a company-wide fish fry, all current and retired employees were invited to join the festivities.
Craighead Electric Cooperative partnered with Today’s Power, Inc. (TPI) and the City of Brookland to build a 1-megawatt solar array in Brookland, AR.
Craighead Electric Cooperative was incorporated on August 13th, 1937, the second electric cooperative in Arkansas to do so under the Rural Electrification Act signed by President Franklin D. Roosevelt. In the 80 years that have passed, the co-op has grown by leaps and bounds.
