Empower Announces Chief Broadband Officer

Jonesboro, AR — Aug. 18, 2025 —

Empower, Delivered by Craighead Electric, is proud to announce the appointment of Adrian Flye as Chief Broadband Officer. Flye lives in Jonesboro with his wife, Elizabeth, and their two daughters.

A valued member of the organization since 2022, Flye has served as Vice President of Innovation and Technology for the past three years. In this new role, he will oversee operations for Empower as the company continues to grow and develop high-speed internet access across rural Northeast Arkansas.

“I’m honored to step into this position and continue working alongside a talented team that’s committed to better connecting and serving our communities,” said Flye. “Empower’s future is rooted in innovation, and I look forward to leading new advancements in technology that will drive our mission forward and deliver transformative solutions for Northeast Arkansas.”

Along with its parent company, Craighead Electric Cooperative Corporation (CECC), the organizations employ 135 people.
