Craighead Electric Cooperative is beginning a major infrastructure project in Trumann to improve electric reliability and prepare the community for future broadband and telecommunications services.
The project, which begins in late September and is expected to continue through the spring, will replace poles in several sections of the Trumann area.
“These upgrades will strengthen our ability to deliver safe and reliable power to our members while also laying the groundwork for broadband access,” said Donnie French, Director of Engineering Services at Craighead Electric Cooperative.
Member Impact
The work will be performed by CECC contractors and, in some cases, crews may need to access poles located in members’ backyards. If this applies to your property, a CECC representative or contractor will reach out to you directly to discuss the next steps.
Our teams are committed to treating each property with care and respect. If any adjustments are needed to allow access, crews will coordinate with you in advance and work to ensure everything is put back in order as quickly as possible.
Community Benefits
This project reflects Craighead Electric’s ongoing commitment to reinvesting in the communities it serves. By upgrading poles and preparing for broadband deployment, CECC is ensuring that Trumann residents not only have safe, dependable electric service today but also the infrastructure needed to support future growth and connectivity.
